There's a lot more to the annual Auto Show than just checking out shiny new cars. Area auto plants and dealers depend on it. Ford Motor Company is excited about the show. The new 2013 Ford Escape is on display for the first time in NYS. Ford says the Escape is the best-selling SUV in WNY. Meanwhile, GM used the Auto Show to announce more jobs at the Engine Plant in Tonawanda. Dealers like Paddock Chevrolet say the show kicks off the spring buying season and this year, many Chevy models are offering fuel efficiency and safety. The show runs through Sunday.
