TOWN OF NIAGARA, N.Y (WKBW) The Town of Niagara Board is expected to approve a $70-million dollar expansion of the Fashion Outlets Mall at tonight's town board meeting.

Two years in the works, the 280,000 square foot expansion project will create room for the addition of up to 50 new high-end stores.

It will also include two or three new main anchor stores - with sources telling Eyewitness News that one of them is expected to be Neiman Marcus.

The plan also includes improvements for traffic flow, including connection of the mall roadways to other shopping areas nearby.

1400 construction related jobs will be created by the project which is expected to be finished by 2015.
