Tronconi Segarra & Associates LLP is seeking approval to construct a $4.6 million office building in Clarence.
The accounting and business consulting firm is working with Maguire Development Co. on plans to erect a 20,000-square-foot building at 8321 Main St. between Transit and Harris Hill roads, Maguire president James Dentinger said Friday.
The firm wants to consolidate two existing offices into the new facility. It plans to shift employees who work at the Amherst and Clarence offices to the new building and maintain the existing Niagara Falls office, Dentinger said.
Tronconi Segarra employs about 90 people in Western New York. It anticipates adding 50 more employees within the next 10 years, Dentinger said.
The project is contingent upon the approval of the Clarence Industrial Development and the town of Clarence. A public hearing is scheduled for April 18.
It has not yet been determined whether Maguire or the firm will own the building, but Tronconi would be the main occupancy, Dentinger said.
