TOWN OF TONAWANDA, NY (WKBW-TV) - Town of Tonawanda police have arrested 83-year-old Phyllis Eson who they say killed her husband, 89, Norman Eson.
Police were called to their home at 161 Hawthorne around 10 p.m. Sunday night by the landlord to check the welfare of the Eson’s.
When officers arrived, they were greeted by Phyllis who had blood on her clothes. Upon inspecting the residence, patrol officers found Norman deceased on the floor.
An autopsy concluded that Norman died of trauma caused by blunt force blows to the head. The blows, coupled with Norman’s frail condition, led to his death.
