BUFFALO, NY - The national round of Social Madness is underway and four Buffalo-area companies are fighting for the national prize.

In the Small Company category (up to 99 employees), KegWorks is pitted against Medical ID Marketplace, a Hope Paige Company.

Perry's Ice Cream, the local winner in the Medium Companies category (100-499 employees) faces off against Leatherman.

Two companies in the Large category (500-plus employees) made it to the nationals. Fisher-Price, the local winner, will try to overcome another well-known retailer, Value City Furniture.

Meanwhile, the local runner-up Vector Marketing takes on Autozone.

As in the local competition, points are tabulated based on Facebook likes, LinkedIn connections, Twitter followers and votes on the Social Madness site.

Round One of the national competition ends July 30.

Social Madness is sponsored locally by the Buffalo Bills and nationally by Capital One Spark Business.
