The 2013 Health Care Guide is in this week's Business First.
It covers the latest trends in healthcare from details on controlling employee benefit expenses to the future of healthcare delivery.
A report by Dopkins Healthcare Team shows that the U.S. population has doubled since 1950, while the life expectancy has increased from 68 to 78 in that time. So there's an increased demand for healthcare services.
That's driving the need for change in the system. The guide is also complete with a Who's Who in healthcare and several lists in the local market.
For example, Business First ranked area hospitals on the number of licensed beds. ECMC tops the list with 550 total licensed beds. Buffalo General is next, followed by Mercy Hospital. Sisters of Charity is fourth and Millard Fillmore Suburban is fifth.
The guide is available in this week's Business First.
you can also find many other lists from top dental groups to physical therapy locations... and more.
