There's a brand new exhibit in town and it's just in time for Monday's solar eclipse.

The Buffalo Museum of Science will unveil "Buffalo In Space" on Monday, August 21st. This unique space-focused exhibit is a hands-on, family-friendly opportunity to bring space closer to home.

The exhibit features unique Buffalo-centric elements all of which tie in current research and regional stories, while emphasizing local achievements in aerospace by companies and organizations right here in WNY.

And while you stop by to learn about planets and space, you can also enjoy a view of the solar eclipse in the afternoon on the front lawn of MLK Park.

The museum is hosting a free viewing party starting at 1p.m., featuring food trucks, fun, and of course those special glasses.
