Invest Buffalo Niagara and the Greater Rochester Enterprise have released a statement on their joint effort to lure in Amazon's new headquarters.
The organizations say they have "delivered an extremely sophisticated and compelling bid submission to Amazon..."
And their video (see above) is pretty awesome!
Reps say the submission team looks forward to hearing from Amazon, as the company begins its evaluation process.
Here's a portion of their statement:
"Given the very competitive nature of the selection process, the submission team is at this time unable to unveil any specific details regarding the contents of the submission; however, we can state that the region’s response focused on big picture thinking and the many key attributes that make Western New York an extremely attractive option for Amazon. Some of these attributes include a well-recognized regional affordability and low-cost of doing business, top-tier talent pipeline, strong history of innovation, and an existing urban infrastructure built to handle past size and future growth."
