Officials tell Eyewitness News a fire occurred in the 100 block of Hertel Avenue just after 9:40 a.m. on Saturday.
Buffalo Fire responded to the 2 1/2 story residence which has 60,000 dollars worth of estimated damage.
Two adults and two children were assisted by the Red Cross. The children were taken to Children's Hospital for possible smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
