A Buffalo man has pleaded guilty to threatening police officers on social media.

Prosecutors say 24-year-old Arthur Jordan used social media to threaten officers specifically on Facebook under the screen name, "MacBmw Jordan."

According to prosecutors, Jordan posted, “Let’s Start Killin Police Lets See How Dey Like It” on social media back in July of 2016.

Investigators say Jordan posted these comments the same day five police officers in Dallas, Texas were targeted and killed by a sniper.

Jordan will go before a judge August 8th. If convicted, Jordan could spend a maximum of five years behind bars and pay a $250,000 fine.
