Jason Colino, the brother of Holly Colino, spoke out to WKBW affiliate WHAM explaining that his sister had a long standing insecurity with women, which comes from the fact that he grew up without a mother.

"She never had a mother to love her, to hold her" Colino said.

Her brother Jason, who is a father of two, said that the resentment she holds towards women continued to his family. Holly had only met his six-year-old once, and never liked his fiance.

"There's a lot of resentment built up ... towards even my fiance."

Holly Colino was charged with 2nd degree murder and illegal possession of a weapon in connection to the murder of Megan Duncanson Dix of Lyndonville in late August.

Last Friday, Holly Colino was indicted by a grand jury. She pled not guilty to both charges.

Jason Colino hopes that his sister can receive proper help and lives with the guilt his sister caused the Dix family.

"I really hope that she, Holly, gets the help she needs" Colino said, " And I pray for the other family and their loss. It's awful I think about that every night."
