Just back home after a week in sunny South Florida. Boy! Did I time it right? I missed the storm! Funny how no matter where you go you can never be far from Western New York. For three days the lead story on the local news in Fort Myers/Naples, was, "The Big Storm" in Buffalo. I felt like i had never left town! Pictures from Hamburg, Jamestown and Erie. It is also amazing to me that we can have a raging blizzard south of the city but yet, not much of anything in Grand Island, Niagara Falls, Lewiston and Youngstown. Anyway, I miss the sun and the palm trees but it is always good to come home. Seeing the Christmas lights and hearing the Holiday songs in Florida has always seemed a bit weird to me.
