I have just returned from a week's vacation in Florida. Can you believe it was 83 degrees here when I left the Buffalo Airport and when I arrived in Fort Myers it was only 80!
We sure do have some crazy weather here in Western New York. Anyway, I went down there to bring my wife and "Frankie" back home. They now spend the winter down there while I have to keep working! Does that sound right to you? I'm just kidding, I think it's great that they have the opportunity to do that now that the kids are all gone. The trip home was a nightmare! Frankie is not a good flier.
We give him some pills from the Vet that are supposed to calm him down for the flight. Well, for some reason they did the opposite! He went berserk! He began barking and growling and refused to stay in his little cage under the seat in front of me. (He's only 5 pounds) It was beginning to get a little embarrassing. People kept looking at us, kind of like we had a crying baby with us.
I finally had to take him out of his carry on bag and hide him under my coat! Something you are not supposed to do! That was the longest two and a half hours I think I have ever spent in an airplane. And it was a full flight! I apologized to my fellow passengers for Frankie's behavior and when one woman came up and said, "oh Mr. Postles, we watch you every night", I said "thank you so much, I really appreciate it". I didn't bother correcting her.
