After a very long winter the days are finally getting a little longer, the snow is gone, the sun is shining, and the Sabres are in the playoffs!
My favorite sporting event of the year has finally begun and the Sabres are a big part of it. That's right, the Stanley Cup Playoffs are back and the Buffalo Sabres are playing the Flyers in what should be a very exciting and physical series.
The time of year when many of us throw away our razors and show our team support by growing playoff beards. I'm glad the bosses here have embraced the idea since it would be tough to forecast weather on tv and not actually show your face.
It's a great time to be in Western New York. Now is the time to enjoy the spring sunshine, notice the grass is getting much greener, the perennials are sprouting, and so are the playoff beards!
