It may only be January, but Buffalo's boys of summer are already looking forward to another action-packed season in Downtown Buffalo.
The Bisons have announced their 2017 promotional schedule, which celebrates 30 years of Triple A baseball at what is now Coca-Cola Field.
Opening Day is Thursday, April 6th at 2:05 p.m. against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. All 71 scheduled home games will include special tributes to the 30th season downtown, leading up to a '30th Season Celebration Night' on August 30th.
Other highlights include the 10th Annual Star Wars Night on June 3rd, the 23rd Annual KeyBank Independence Eve Celebration with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus on July 3rd, and Superhero Night on August 26th.
The Bisons have also expanded the popular Dog Day to two days - May 6th and August 28th.
