Buffalo Film Works is a piece of Hollywood located right off of Babcock Street in South Buffalo.

A peak inside the 165,000 square foot space and remnants of the old railcar foundry remain from the crane to the tracks.

"Before this basically was an abandoned warehouse and it's bringing life to a warehouse that would've been abandoned," Film Work's CFO, Jennifer O'Neill, said.

A year ago it became a movie studio and sound stage for film production companies filming in Buffalo.  Buffalo Film Works has already worked on four movies--including Hollywood Blockbuster "The First Purge"--bringing in the big bucks and jobs to Western New York.

The transformations of the old warehouses will happen over the next two years with improvements ranging from soundproofing to dressing rooms.

"We'll have everything a production needs to film, right here," Film Work's COO, George Pittas, said.
