A Belmont man is facing felony charges after State Police say he was driving his ATV drunk.

State Police in Amity stopped 44-year-old Steven Warner on County Road 31 in the Town of Friendship Sunday. They say he was riding in the roadway and wasn't wearing a helmet.  Police say when they interviewed him, they detected an odor of alcohol, but Warner refused to perform any field sobriety tests.  He was taken to police headquarters where he also refused to take a breathalyzer test.

Warner was charged with Felony DWI, because he had been convicted of a DWI within the past 10 years.  He was also cited for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, having an unregistered ATV, and not wearing a helmet.  He was arraigned and taken to the Allegany County Jail.
