Tax hike passes in West Seneca, despite taxpayer dismay.
WEST SENECA, N.Y. (WKBW) - The West Seneca Ad Valorem tax increase passed at 8.6% during Monday's West Seneca Town Hall meeting.
The rate is down from the original 12% that was presented at the Town Hall meeting on October 30th.
Supervisor Sheila Meegan and Councilman Eugene Hart voted yes while Councilman William Hanley voted "no" leading to the tax increase passing 2-1.
The meeting was interrupted several times by people attending the meeting.
