A city court judge released 23-year-old Mikesha Lawson under court ordered supervision following her arrest in the disappearance of her 4-year-old daughter, Mikeya Houston.

This case all started with an Amber Alert that was issued on March 10th. Investigators say, Lawson abducted the child Thursday March 9th, after she got off the school bus near Best and Main Streets in Buffalo. The two were found nearly 17 hours later on Academy Road.

Investigators say Lawson lost complete custody of the girl just hours before they disappeared.

At the bail hearing, Lawson's lawyer Matthew Albert said, "this case has been a drastic over-reaction from the very beginning."

Lawson is due back in court on March 30th at 2 p.m. at the judge's request to make sure she is following orders and remains on the right path moving forward.
