A 21 year-old from Grand Island made a wrong turn and ended up stuck on CSX railroad tracks...leading police to the weapons, alcohol and drugs in his car.

Giuseppe S. Campanella was arrested just before 1 a.m. on June 19th after City of Tonawanda police officers found an open beer can, marijuana ashes, two AR-15 rifles, 150 rounds of ammunition and pills in his car. The weapons were illegally altered with removable magazines and front grips, violating the Safe Act.

Officers found amphetamine and dextramphetamine in Campanella's center console. He did not have a prescription.

He's facing a felony charge of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, possession of a controlled substance and five different traffic charges.
