Buffalo, NY ( WKBW) The news of a suspected predator targeting young boys near the Westminster Community Charter School has sent parents and students into a panic.

Buffalo Police describe the suspect as a dark-skinned black male in his 40's, wearing a skull cap and dark jacket. His bike is described as an old silver and red bike with the handle bars turned up.

He allegedly stopped an eight year old and 11 year old boy on two separate occasions. He asks the boys if they want to make some money then starts photographing the children and trying to lure them away.

The first incident happened on Echols Lane in the Clinton- Jefferson area and the second incident occurred in the Kensington-Suffolk neighborhood just steps away from Westminster.

The principal sent students home with a letter Wednesday telling parents that children were not allowed outside at all and warning parents of the security concern.
