BUFFALO, NY (WKBW-TV) - A national publication is giving high marks to Buffalo's Women and Children's Hospital. US News and World Report ranked the west side hospital in the top 50 in two categories. Of the 177 hosptials ranked, Children's came in 48th in Neurology/Neurosurgery and 46th in Cancer care. The articled was published in this weeks issued which hit news stands on Tuesday August 30.

The national ranking of Neurology/Neurosurgery recognizes the broad scope of expertise throughout the neuroscience areas at Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo. For example, Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo was among the children's hospitals surveyed by US News & World Report to receive the highest score for surgical survival rates in neurosurgery.
