A Florida woman got an expensive surprise when she opened her cell phone bill recently.
According to a story from Florida television station WSVN, the woman's bill -- which is typically around $175 -- checked in at more than $200,000.
According to the WSVN report, the woman's deaf brother -- who is on her plan -- spent a couple of weeks in Canada and didn't change to an international plan, ringing up charges with text messages and video downloads. Service provider T-Mobile amended the bill to $2,500 and gave her six months to pay, according to the report.
