Woman Pleads Guilty to Stealing Money From Tenants for Gambling

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - A Buffalo woman pleaded guilty to stealing money from tenants while employed by two New York City property owners.

54-year-old Brenda Puccia pleaded guilty Friday morning to Scheme to Defraud and Grand Larceny.

Puccia owns a property management company known as ADI Property Services, LLC. She admitted during the period of March 1, 2012 and July 31, 2012, while employed by two NYC property owners to manage rental properties they own in Buffalo, she stole approximately $29,859.

Puccia stole the money by collecting rents from the tenants and using the money to gambling habit.

She faces a maximum prison term of four years when she is sentenced on August 7th.
