It took an Illinois woman nearly six-and-a-half hours to finish Sunday's Chicago Marathon. It turns out she had some more work ahead of her after crossing the finish line.
According to a story in The Daily Herald, the 27-year-old DuPage woman gave birth to her second child several hours after crossing the finish line.
The woman started feeling contractions after crossing the finish line of the 26.2-mile marathon. She and her husband stopped to get something to eat, and then headed to the hospital where she gave birth to a girl after more than two hours of labor, according to the Daily Herald.
