A New Mexico woman is asking for her medical bill to be paid for by the county after being charged more than $1,100 dollars for a forcible body cavity search ordered by a drug enforcement agency that did not turn up any illegal substances, according to a story in the Las Cruces Sun-News.

The woman was searched in early July, was not arrested or criminally charged, according to the report. She is refusing to pay the $1,122 she was charged and has filed a tort claim.
