TOWN OF ELMA, NY ( WKBW ) A Yorkshire woman led police on a high speed chase Sunday in the Town Of Elma.
Sheriff's deputies say 44 year old Nancy Lancaster was driving at a speed of over 90 MPH on route 400 around 9a.m. Sunday. When an officer tried to pull her over, she refused to stop.
That is when Lancaster allegedly hit a speed of 100 MPH before losing control of her vehicle and crashed into a guardrail.
After the crash, Lancaster allegedly fled on foot before getting into a struggle with the officer.
Lancaster was arrested and is facing numerous charges including Felony DWI; Possession of a controlled substance; and Resisting Arrest.
Her license had been suspended 12 times before this incident.
