(Tonawanda, N.Y.) Investigators are still searching for the cause of a fast moving house fire that took the life of Suzzanne DiSalvo of Tonawanda.
The 53-year old woman suffered from multiple sclerosis and lived life in a wheel chair with the assistance of powered lifts.
Family members tell Eyewitness News that they were taking turns caring for Suzzanne.
On Monday, the women's son steeped out briefly to run to the store.
He was only gone a few minutes, but in that time, a fire swept through the Parkhurst Blvd. house killing the Tonawanda native and her dog.
Suzzanne leaves behind a husband of 28 years, Angelo, and two sons, Michael and Nicholas.
A wake and funeral service will be held at the Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtown's ChapeL) at 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. on Friday evening from 4-8pm.
