BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) -Two Silicon Valley companies are coming to Buffalo with 850 jobs in tow.
Those companies are getting ready to join forces at a brand new development in South Buffalo, called Riverbend.
What are their track records and what can we really expect from the project?
Howard Zemsky, Co-Chair of the Regional Cconomic Development Council who has been very involved in this deal, says the Governor's office has studied the track record of the two new companies, Soraa and Silevo, coming to the area.
Zemsky feels Cuomo would not have gone public with the announcement unless he was confident that the plan to create a multi-billion dollar Buffalo High-Tech Manufacturing Innovation Hub at Riverbend would be a success.
However, neither of the two companies have turned a profit.
