BUFFALO, NY ( wkbw ) Thanksgiving is a time to pause and reflect on all the good things that we have in our lives.

Sixth grader Nicole Rattle is thankful for, "My family, food, and friends."

For the 180 students at Trinity Catholic Academy in South Buffalo, this week was a chance to get together with their families for a special Thanksgiving Mass at St. Teresa's Church.

Students in the 6th through 8th grades prepared a special liturgical dance to celebrate the holiday.

Andrea Baxter, the 6th grade teacher told Eyewitness News, "It is just a dance to God to say thank you."

Dr. Rosemary Henry, Superintendent of Catholic Schools noted, "It was wonderful to see the dance, and the girls perform with such grace and beauty."

For the third grade students at the Buffalo United Charter School, Thanksgiving means having a special lunch with your classmates, complete with your favorite foods.
