Buffalo, N.Y. (WKBW) - There were many passionate and opposing reactions for Western New York voters post-election.

"I'm ecstatic. I thought he was going to win but not by the margin he did," voter Bob Pimpo said.

Peter Preteroti feels a little differently.

"I'm totally disgusted. I feel like the death certificate for the country has been signed," voter Peter Preteroti said.

There were some voters on both sides who say there is one thing they agree on and that is issues that President Obama must tackle in the next four years.

"How he is going to create jobs and deal with the giant debt with China, who is the biggest debt holder," voter Mark Iadono said.

"How he's going to control big government. I honestly feel it's going to lead to the destruction of the country," Preteroti said.

Ronal Schaefer says he has other concerns.

"The mortgage crisis. It's really unfortunate," Schaefer said.

Although not everyone is happy with the results, they say they just want to see an end to the political campaigning.

"Thank God it's over. I'm so sick and tired of both sides slinging lies," Preteroti said.

Preteroiti and others say it's time to get over this election and get down to the issues at hand, improving the country for all who live here.
