DIGITS LLC has opened a division that will reconstruct automobile accidents.
The accident reconstruction unit will complement its dashboard forensics services, which uses technology to provide evidence to tell the story of how a collision occurred. This can include using data stored within a vehicle's information and entertainment systems.
The West Seneca-based digital forensics company has hired Christopher Puckett as its manager of accident reconstruction unit. Puckett attended New York State Police Academy, as well as the Institute of Police Technology and Management, where he specialized in collision reconstruction training.
During his 20-year law enforcement career as a New York State Police investigator, Puckett investigated complicated motor vehicle accidents involving property damage, physical injury and death. The company plans on hiring additional experts as needed.
