West Seneca Police Called to Catch Pig Running Wild (With Photos)

May 22, 2013 Updated May 22, 2013 at 8:25 PM EDT

(WKBW release) According to a news release from the West Seneca Police Department, on Wednesday May 22, 2013, at about 8:52 a.m., West Seneca Police received a complaint of a loose pig chasing after people.

According to the news release:

Officer’s Fibich and Deppeler responded to the area of Garry Drive. Upon arrival they were approached by the pig, which was caught using a dog snare pole.

The pig was turned over to animal control without incident or injury.

As of this time, we have not received any calls claiming the pig. The animal has been turned over to the Erie County SPCA.
