BUFFALO, N.Y. ( WKBW ) Five adults and six children are homeless Friday after an overnight fire ripped through their West Ferry home.

The flames started on the 2nd floor, and then spread to the attic.

Investigators are trying to figure out what started the fire.

Buffalo Fire Captain Don McFeely told Eyewitness News, "It looks like it is probably electrical, but it is hard to determine at this time. The damage is around $25,000, and so far there are no injuries."

The Red Cross is assisting the family.
