Wegmans issued a recall Wednesday of its All-Purpose Bleached Flour.
The product was recalled because it may contain small (7-9mm) blue polyurethane balls, which are from the product sifting equipment, and as such are made of a flexible food grade material.
Wegmans says the balls are not sharp, and because of their bright color and size, they are easily seen in the flour.
The recalled product was sold between December 24, 2012 and February 15, 2013.
All product may be returned for a full refund.
