(Buffalo, NY) WKBW - Shea's Performing Arts Center welcomes its second show of the season to the stage.

The five time Tony Award winning musical War Horse makes its way to Buffalo in less than two weeks. It's the story of an unbreakable friendship between a young boy named Albert and his horse Joey.

The story takes place during World War I. Joey is sold to the calvary and shipped to England where he is caught up in enemy fire and forced to fight on both sides before finally ending up alone. Albert, not old enough to enlist, embarks on a treacherous mission to find his horse and bring him home.

What follows is a remarkable tale of courage, loyalty and friendship, filled with stirring music and songs and told with the some of the most innovative stagecraft of our time.

War Horse plays at Shea's from November 12-17.
