According to The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead, a Minnesota waitress will get to keep $12,000 in cash that a customer left behind at the restaurant where she worked, after authorities said the money could not be connected with a criminal investigation.

Police had seized the money, claiming it was part of a drug investigation, according to The Forum report. The woman said she considered the money a tip when nobody claimed it after 90 days, according to The Forum story.
