ELLICOTTVILLE, N.Y. (WKBW) 19-year old Jacob Wozniak is already a state and national champion for cabinet making and he will soon take his talents to the international stage.

Wozniak has been selected to be part of a team that will represent the United States in the 2015 WorldSkills International Competition to be held in Brazil.

The Springville teenager was an honor student who decided to take vocational courses through the Ellicottville Career & Technical Education Center that is operated by Cattaraugus-Allegany BOCES.

"Never in his wildest dreams, or in mine, or in BOCES, did we ever think we would have a student who would excel this far," said Terry Fuller, building technology instructor for CA BOCES.

"Yeah, I'm very nervous because I was watching videos and it looks very rigorous," added Jacob Wozniak.

Over the next two years, the young cabinet maker will have to take additional training and work with a mentor to prepare himself for the international competition.
