BUFFALO, NY (WKBW)- 9/11 Remembrance Ceremonies were held throughout Western New York Tuesday to remember, honor and never forget the innocent lives lost 11 years ago. In Buffalo on Delaware Avenue, a sea of flags lined the headquarters of the American Red Cross. In Amherst on Erie Community College's North Campus, a memorial was held to honor the first responders and the thousands of people who lost their lives. At Saint Mary's School for the Deaf in Buffalo, students placed flags outside the school and held a moment of silence for the victims.
