BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - For the second time in less than a week, voters in Western New York turned down the proposal to downsize local government.
Voters in the Village of Farnham voted overwhelmingly against the measure to dissolve their village government. About seventy percent of eligible voters turned out, with 130 voting against the measure compared to only 30 votes in favor of it.
Residents in the Town of Cuba also defeated a similar measure to dissolve by a wide margin.
Last week, voters in Grand Island voted against downsizing the town board.
