At the vigil, family members say even though a whole year has passed, the pain of losing their beloved little girl has not subsided.
The two teens connected to the death of Tennant are expected to be sentenced next month.
17-year-old John Freeman has been charged with second degree murder. He faces a maximum of life in prison.
19-year-old Tyler Best is charged with the disposing of Tennant's body, which he put in a garbage bag.
He faces up to 4 years in prison.
