US Records Warmest March in History

According to data from the National Climatic Data Center, the U.S. just recorded its warmest March.

The average temperature of 51.1 degrees in the contiguous U.S. was more than eight degrees above the 20th century average for the month, and eclipsed March of 1910 as the warmest on record, according to the NCDC.

Every state in the nation had at least one record warm daily temperature during March, according to the report.
