BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - The University at Buffalo freshman found dead in a Winspear Avenue home Sunday has been identified.

18-year-old Nicholas Arieno's body was found inside the home. Police tell Eyewitness news they're still unsure how he died, but rule out foul play.

Medical examiners are waiting for toxicology results before ruling on a cause of death.

Arieno, a Rochester native, graduated from Greece - Athena High School before attending UB.

Athena Principal Jason Gianotti tells Eyewitness News that students were notified of Arieno's death today and the school had a moment of silence in his memory this morning.

Extra counselors are on site.

Principal Gianotti described Nick as a wonderful student who was actively involved. Most notably, he and another student started a business through the Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) last year that won honors.

"As a school community we are taking time to grieve and remember Nick," Gianotti said. "He was a wonderful student and a very active member of our school community."
