Two Town Supervisor Races Close

Buffalo, NY (WKBW) - The final tallies for two town supervisor races ran long into the night.

In the end, Barry Weinstein (R) ended up winning in Amherst. Weinstein, the incumbent, beat out Mark Manna (D), a town council member. The vote came down to 55-percent to 45-percent.

The race for town supervisor in Hamburg remains very tight. Incumbent Steven Walters (R) has 51-percent of the vote. Walter Rooth (D) has 49-percent. The difference in the race is only 158 votes.
