TOWN OF CONCORD, N.Y. (WKBW) - Two teenagers were arrested late Friday night on narcotic charges.
Police arrested a teenage female from the Town of Elma and a teenage male from the Town of Lancaster for narcotics possession following a traffic stop in the Town of Concord.
Sheriff Deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding on the southbound Rt. 219. Deputies found the 17-year-old male driver to be acting very nervous during his initial conversation with him.
Further investigation revealed a quanitity of hallucinogenic mushrooms in a plastic baggie that the 16-year-old female passenger had in her bag.
Both subjects were charged with Criminal Possession of a Hallucinogenic substance, a felony, and transported to the Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment.
