The Wyoming County Sheriff's Office said two people were seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident on Sunday in the Town of Sheldon.
Authorities said two passengers were transported by Mercy Flight to Womens and Childrens Hospital with internal injuries.
According to a news release from the Wyoming County Sheriffs Office, the vehicle was traveling westbound on State Route 20A when the driver fell asleep. The vehicle drifted across the road, hit a culvert and then landed on its side. Police said the driver suffered chest injuries and another passenger suffered an ankle injury in the crash.
