Two Hospitalized in Overnight Fire

Buffalo, NY (WKBW) - Flames broke out at an east side home in Buffalo at three in the morning on Friday.

Firefighters responded to a blaze at 108 Oxford Avenue, and immediately had to rush inside and rescue a trapped victim.

One person sustained serious injuries.

A firefighter was also taken to the hospital for burns to his arm.

Fire Commissioner Garnell Whitfield says eleven people lived in the home. The Red Cross is assisting ten adults who lived in the home.

A cause is under investigation.
