Two Dead, Four Injured in Weekend Violence

Buffalo, NY (WKBW) - Police in Buffalo are investigating four shootings that left two dead and four more injured over the weekend.

Shortly before midnight, Buffalo police responded to a drive-by shooting on the 400 block of Woodlawn Avenue. One man was transported to ECMC with non-life threatening injuries.

At 10:45 on Sunday night, a man in his early 30's was shot while entering his home. The man, who has not been identified, sustained serious injuries.

Police are also investigating a triple shooting that took place during a backyard barbeque at 32 Pershing Avenue early Sunday morning. One man was killed and two women were injured.

The crime wave began Friday night just after 11 pm, when a man was shot and killed on Saint Joseph Street.
