TOWN OF SHERIDAN, N.Y. (WKBW) - A Forestville teen is recovering from a two-car accident in the Town of Sheridan Saturday afternoon.
State Police say around 4:50 p.m., a truck driven by 28-year-old Renee Allen of Buffalo was driving south on Center Road.
At the intersection of Center Road and State Route 39, she stopped for the stop sign then proceeded through the intersection. Police say Allen believed it was a four-way stop.
Allen pulled into the path of a truck driving east. The driver, 17-year-old Joshua Schulze, was unable to stop, and struck Allen's vehicle.
Schulze was taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital for minor injurues.
Allen was not injured. She was issued a ticket for Failure to Yield the Right of Way at an intersection with a stop sign.
