BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Buffalo Police have arrested two individuals in connection with Sunday night's standoff in the city's Riverside section.

Buffalo Police responded to a call of a man with a gun around 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening in the first block of Riverside Avenue.

Police believe one of two suspects fired shots in the street in the Riverside Avenue area while residents and children were outside. The individual then ran into his home at 66 Riverside Avenue.

Officers arrived and surrounded that home and then called SWAT and the Hostage Management Team to the scene a short time later.

After a brief negotiating period, the two suspects surrendered without incident.

Police then obtained a search warrant for the home, and with the help of a police K-9 unit, officers recovered a handgun in a heat register and an undisclosed amount of marijuana in the basement.

Police have arrested 23-year-old Keith Terry and charged him with Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Reckless Endangerment and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.

Police also arrested 18-year-old Bobby Calhoun of Buffalo. He is charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
